Hayes Performing Arts Center
The Mariam and Robert Hayes
Performing Arts Center is a year round facility that is the
home of the Blowing Rock Stage Company. The Stage Company
produces professional theatre, develops new plays, and
teaches the next generation of theatre performers and
artists through a variety of outreach programs. In addition
to live theatre, the facility presents a variety of musical,
comedy, and dance performances as well as a classic film
series. The center also offers a gathering place for civic
and cultural activities as well as a resource for local
commercial interests with its meeting facilities and hosting
capabilities.
Horn In The West
Open late June to mid-August. Shows nightly except Monday at
8pm. Exciting family entertainment of the history of the
area. Admission includes Hickory Ridge Homestead Living
History Museum. All seats reserved, walk-ups welcome.
Parkway Craft Center
Milepost 294 on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Moses Cone
Manor just off 221. Finest quality Appalachian Mountain
hand-made crafts by members of the Southern Highland Craft
Guild. Craft demonstrations on the porch. March 15-November
30. |
