Activities

In this section we present a very limited sampling of the multitude of opportunities and activities in our area. There is so much to do, see, explore, and experience in the Western North Carolina High Country, that several years would not suffice. There are numerous things you can do before or after your wedding, that are indoor type activities, or outdoor type activities, and combinations of which make for fabulous experiences and memories. We can even help you design themes based on related activities or a combination of activities. Let's say for example you like picnics, dancing, waterfalls, art, general stores, and hot cars.

How does "I Hope You Dance" sound: A day trip where you hop in a Porsche Boxster S with your Moveable Feast Picnic in the trunk, head over to Carlton Gallery just down the road to work up an appetite and get serene for the drive, then take a series of twisty country backroads for about 60 miles to the General Store In Todd via Watauga Lake, while listening to "I Hope You Dance" picnic besides the New River, on your way back take a half-hour pretty flat hike to Linville Falls on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Take our word for it, it's a pretty good day. That type of program may not be your type of program, but regardless of your preferences, there is a way to build programs for you and which suit your needs and schedule.
