The Mast Farm Inn, was the first company in our county to receive its beer and wine license. This due to its listing as a National Historic Register property, and the fact it was located in North Carolina's First Rural Historic District. This license was actually the object of a special state law voted by the North Carolina legislature. Needless to say we like beer and wine and know our way around from both a quality and price perspective. We have a wide selection of beer and wine available from mainstream as well as small breweries and vineyards. We often feature North Carolina Wines & Micro-Breweries. Wine need not be expensive to be good, but you do need to know your way around.
