Miss Allie's
A favorite of many guests, Miss Allie's Room is a 2nd
floor corner room overlooking our terrace and side rock
garden. It is particularly quiet, being on the back side
of the house without a guest room above or below it.
A high antique walnut queen bed is showcased in
the room and two comfortable overstuffed chairs in a
floral pattern seem to bring the garden's flowers into
the room. Its spacious bathing room contains an
antique claw-foot tub and a tiled corner shower. The
WC is separate with toilet and sink, the latter
fashioned from an antique oak washstand. Room air
conditioner in summer.
Including A Complete Country Gourmet Breakfast For Two

After Joe Mast died, the house stood empty or was
briefly rented until 1984, when Francis and
Sibyl Pressly bought the property and did a masterful
restoration. The Pressly's outstanding hospitality,
cuisine and service became regionally renown in very
short order. Along with the purchase, restoration and
reestablishment of
The Mast General Store
by John and Faye Cooper, this greatly contributed
to the rebirth of Valle
Crucis as a hidden treasure of the Blue Ridge.
Once again, The Mast Farm Inn became a favored
destination for visitors to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Guest Testimonials
"The inn keepers have done an incredible job upgrading
and improving this historic place. Their service is
impeccable, the grounds are incredibly beautiful, the
decor is amazingly charming and the food service is
outrageous and the attention is first class. The Mast
Farm Inn is our favorite retreat in the United States. ~

"Danielle, What a wonderful time we had with you today
and we enjoyed the ride home with lots of thoughts and
plans... And we are definitely leaning towards the July
date and will finalize that over the weekend. Thank you
again for stopping in the middle of this busy season to
take care of us and for all the extra phone calls on our
behalf. Joyous Noel. ~ AB"
"Thank you so much for your warm hospitality Sunday. C.
and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting your family and seeing
old (and new) friends from the Valle and throughout the
area. The food was wonderful, and I especially enjoyed
visiting with my old roommate, EA (who entertained us
all with guitar and song). ~ CC"
