better suited for a specific size and style of wedding.

The Mast Farm Inn
We have locations and sites available which can do
weddings as small as two (minimum requirement) to 5000
people. By far the best location for a mid-sized wedding
of 40-150 is The Barn & The Barn Terrace.

important rivers, flows through the lower portion of The
Mast Farm Inn. Properly prepared and decorated, the
River Landing can make for a fantastic location.

The small pond is a great spot for a small wedding and
is very photogenic. You can get married on the stone terrace, or on the dock, and
have the guests attend the ceremony "from across the
pond" a few yards away.

pedigreed paint horse and her corral is sometimes
dressed up pretty nicely for weddings.

paint horse, and while "original" the idea of getting
married out by her stable, in the field behind the barn,
could definitely appeal to outdoors lovers and provide
for some beautiful photos. Rocky is de-facto invited to
all weddings taking place at her stable.
The Deer's Forest

Community Park

Park, our community park, is a breathtaking rural spot
for a ceremony. Less than a minute by car, or 5 minutes
by foot, The park is available by special request and we
can organize special events in the Park.
The Apple Barn

The Apple Barn, located on the grounds of the Valle
Crucis Conference Center at the Historic Mission School,
about 2 minutes from the Inn, has a long and varied
past. The barn was built in approximately 1911 as the
first dairy barn in the area to have a concrete floor.
The dairy cows were housed in the basement and could
stick their heads out the windows on the side and eat
hay out of the stone trough located there. Hay was
stored in the upper floor and a cheese "factory" was

Camp Broadstone

Camp Broadstone is Appalachian State University's year
round outdoor adventure and retreat center with a
specialized summer camp for academically gifted youth.
Its 55 acres of woods and meadows are located in the
small community of Valle Crucis nestled in the Blue

Formal, Outdoors The parkway and its overlooks, can be a great
location to have a spectacular ceremony, but beyond 40
people, you will need prior approval from the rangers.

wedding for 5000 people where Elton John is being flown
